Lady Lucia Update (March Edition!)

Hey, everyone!

Happy March, and happy almost-spring to those in my hemisphere. I'm once again posting my monthly update while traveling, but this particular trip was designed with writing time in mind. That's actually my ultimate goal with my writing endeavors--to quit my day job and be free to go wherever I want, whenever I want. Within reason, of course; I still have to actually pay for my travels. But as long as I have wi-fi, I can write basically anywhere.

Of course, that's more of a dream/reach goal at the moment. I'd have to be a lot more successful in order to go abroad for months on end and live the picturesque fantasy of writing at the cute coffee shop just below the flat I'm renting.

In the meantime, I'll settle for a budget road trip with a couple friends. There's still plenty of fun and adventure to be found in the simple things.

Alright, that's probably enough about my personal life. Onto why everyone is really here--Announcements, updates, and so on. Let's get started!

Story Updates

The Presentation will be concluding this month. For real, this time! The last two chapters are drafted, and just need a round or two of editing/proofing at this point. I'll be posting the next installment on Thursday, and concluding the story some time next week.

Raven's Fall is finished, as most of you probably noticed by the recent title. Thank you again to Jillybeann for the commission! When I get a minute, I'll create an EPUB version of the completed work and make it available for purchase on my site like I usually do upon wrapping up a story. Unfortunately, it's not as simple as copy/paste; there's some tedious formatting and other adjustments that go into creating those. Regardless, I should have that up by the end of the month!

The Housekeeper is technically on hiatus, though I did just hear from somebody interested in continuing the story. Provided that ends up being a good fit, I should be able to keep things going beyond the 'imagine the rest yourself' partial conclusion I gave the most recent chapter.

From Taylor to Tay-Tay will receive one more chapter this month, then go on hiatus. If anyone would like to pick that story up, you have plenty of time to message me about it before April.

Camp Firefly Sisters is also going on hiatus, though I currently owe another chapter or two to Kyra for the posting delay over the last few months. Similarly, anyone is free to message me about potentially continuing that one.

Long story short, money is a little tight for everyone this year. I totally understand when readers can't keep up the higher subscriptions. There are absolutely no hard feelings when it comes to those stories going on hiatus; I appreciate the ongoing contributions for however long they last, and there's always the possibility of those stories being continued later.

Website Update

As promised, the 'Other Sites' page has been updated to include specific stories as well. including the monthly highlights I've been doing. There are currently a couple links that no longer go anywhere, which I'm working on. As most of us are aware, not all platforms last forever, and sometimes it can be difficult to track down old favorites. Hopefully I'll be able to find all the stories originally listed!

Story Highlight

While that page of my site has referenced August D. Adams, I don't think I've shared a specific story of hers.

The Babysitting Job revolves around an interesting fetish. I'm not really into the genre itself, but this story has some wonderfully catty girls and a solid amount of story/build-up in how it plays out.

While the majority of her works revolve around haircuts, she does have a handful of AR stories. 'Reform School Swap' is my favorite of those.

Conclusion

One last teaser for you, since that's always fun--I'll be launching a new short story this month (on SubscribeStar) that has a male protagonist. I know a lot of you prefer female, but I like to switch things up every now and then. Plus there are some readers who have been waiting for the other side of things, gender wise.

Have a great month, everyone!

Much love,

Lady Lucia

P.S. If I haven't responded to a message you’ve sent, feel free to follow up. I have a bad habit of getting distracted with writing and forgetting about messages I meant to respond to.
