Lady Lucia Update (June Edition!)
Hello, readers—
I hope you’re all having a great summer so far! I’m personally glad to finally have a breather; May was easily the busiest month I’ve had in quite some time. Somehow managed to stay on top of my writing for the most part, and can hopefully use the coming season to work ahead a little bit like I did last year. In the meantime, let’s talk about announcements for everything happening now!
June Writing (SubscribeStar Stories)
“The Babysitter”—Six longer installments, likely uploaded two parts at a time. Thank you to Jillybeann, duckmanuk, as well as those that participated in the Story Focus Poll
“The Teaching Assistant/Westridge Academy”—Two installments, thanks to the results of the aforementioned poll.
“The Flower Boy” and “From Taylor to Tay-Tay”—One longer installment each
Then there will be at least one part of “The Step-Sister” and “The Tutor.”
As usual, a big thank you to those that pledge at the “Story Focus” or “Additional Writing” tiers! I can’t give everyone a shoutout every time, but your votes and preferences are what impact both my website and my SubscribeStar stories beyond the base word count each month.
Story Updates (Some returning, some on hiatus)
“Nanny Vanessa” will be returning to my website, starting with the recent chapter I posted. Originally commissioned by Rose, and now taken over by Chris who wishes to see the story continued.
“From Taylor to Tay-Tay,” however, will be paused after this month’s post. Like so many of us who have had to scale back on subscriptions, splurging, etc. these days with cost of living going up, Dumar needs to take a step back from the double commissions they’ve so generously been paying for since the second chapter. If anyone would like to pick the story up via the commission tier, please let me know. Ideally, I’m looking for someone whose ideas won’t clash with the original spirit of the story.
“The Road Trip” will return for a third arc eventually! I just need to take a breather from that one, especially while I’m working on a handful of other ongoing stories with overlapping genres. With the pace I’m currently writing ‘The Babysitter,’ there’s a good chance I’ll end up wrapping that one up by autumn and turning my attention towards Annie again.

Conclusion
That’s all I’ve got for now! Definitely stay tuned. I have a few ideas I’m not quite ready to share yet, mostly since they’re not fully formed as of right now. All I can tease at the moment is that I’ve been brainstorming a couple short story concepts, as well as a minor writing structure change I’m thinking about implementing in 2026. But we’re not even halfway through the current year, so I’ll try to avoid generating too much intrigue just yet.
